My name is Meagan Merhi, I am 18 years old and I live in North Providence ,RI. This year I live in heathman hall. I am a freshman and I am majoring in Elementary Education. I would love to teach second or third grade. I have 3 younger siblings who are adopted so being around them alot inspired me to want to teach little kids. I also have two older brothers who are biological, one whose 19 and also goes to URI and is a sophomore and one who is 23. I have a big family and my mother and father are always here to support me every step I take. I played lacrosse for 2 years in high school but decided to focus on my school work in college since it is totally different then high school. I love meeting new people and getting out and being active. I am rooming with my two friends from high school, which is good that i already know them but me and my roomie amy love meeting new people and I think met everyone on all three floors already :). Overall I am a very outgoing, fun and a serious person and if you around me im sure you will have a good time.
My favorite contributions would be to help the people that really need to be helped. If I had won the powerball I would donate that money to the cancer foundations, adults/children/elderly with diseases or disability and who ever else would need the money. Thats one thing to know about me I am not selfish, i usually put others before me because I like to do what is right. I also helped the elderly for a year while working at a nursing home near my home.
